This is my photography blog. There are many like it but this one is mine. (shameless Full Metal Jacket reference)

So welcome to my blog. This will be a weekly blog full of random photographic ramblings, musings and maybe a few tips and tricks for those who might be interested.

Full disclosure : I am not a professional photographer. I like to call myself a serious hobbyist photographer. I shoot landscapes as a hobby. I've been shooting landscapes now for about 8 years. Living in Sydney, Australia, I'm spoilt for locations all within 30 - 40 minutes drive from my house. Sandy beaches, interesting rock shelves, unique ocean pools built in the 1930s, even a shipwreck ! I grew up in Western Australia close to the beach so I've had a love for the ocean since I was a small child.

If you have any questions about my work, techniques I use or what gear I use please feel free to comment or use the contact page to send them through. I'm more than willing to discuss all things photographic !

Obviously my main focus is on seascapes, but I'll also be uploading landscapes, some macro shots and some of my work from car shows that I visit annually. I also plan on creating a Sydney specific gallery of it's icons and some imagery from yearly festivals that I always shoot.
